Ingredients 3/4th cup sugar 3 Tbsps Cornstarch 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp cinnamon 4 cups blueberries 1 sweet pie dough crust (basic recipe) 1 Tbsp butter Method 1) Preheat the oven to 200 o C/ 400 o F. Line the pie dish with the prepared pastry. Make holes with a fork. Bake for about 10 mins. 2) Mix the sugar, constarch, salt & cinnamon & sprinkle it over the blueberries. Put the berry mixture over the baked crust & put some melted butter on top. 3) Cut the remaining pastry into 3/4th inch wide strips & make zigzag patterns or any other desired pattern. Crimp & flute the edges. Brush with egg white or milk. 4) Bake for about 40-50 mins till golden brown. In the middle rotate the pie so that the behind part does not become too brown. Alternatively, you may use a blueberry pie filing to make the pie instead of fresh blueberries. Adjust for sugar & spices. if too thin, add some cornstarch.
