Ingredients : For the vanilla delight 3 tbsps corn flour 150 gm full fat milk 4 tbsps granulated sugar 1 tbsp vanilla essence 1/2 cup whipped fresh cream For the choco delight 3 tbsps corn flour 3 tbsps hot water 4 tbsps granulated sugar 3 tbsps coca powder 150 gm full fat milk 1 tbsp vanilla essence For the garnish 3 tbsps walnuts, chopped Whipped cream as desired Glace cherries as desired Method
For the vanilla delight In a bowl, dissolve the corn flour in 50ml milk. In a saucepan, heat the remaining milk and sugar. Add in the corn flour mixuture, stir continuously over medium heat until it thickens and comes to a boil. Blend in the vanilla essence. Pour into a bowl, cool slightly, press cling film directly on the surface, and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Add whipped cream to the delight and chill for another 1 hour. For the choco delight In a bowl, combine the sugar, cocoa powder, and hot water, stir until smooth and shiny. Mix the corn flour in 50ml milk until smooth. In a saucepan, heat together the remaining milk and add the corn flour mixture over medium heat. Add the coca mixture and keep stirring the mixture until it thickens. Blend in the vanilla essence. Pour into a bowl and cool slightly. Press cling film directly on the surface, and refrigerate for 1 hour. Add whipped cream to the delight and chill for another 1 hour. To assemble In a tall parfait or dessert glass place 3 tbsps vanilla delight, top with walnuts, and then add another 3 tbsps of choco delight, layer similarly till the top of the glass. Arrange the remaining pudding in the other glasses. Decorate the choco vanilla delight with the glace cherries and silver balls. Serves 4 Source Savvy Cookbook feb 2007
