Ingredients Egg whites - 2 Desiccated powder (coconut) - 100 gms /3.5 oz Sugar - 3 tbsps Coconut or vanilla essence -1/2 tsp Method 1. Separate the yolk from the egg white. 2. Beat the egg white till stiff. Add the sugar and the desiccated coconut and mix with a light hand. 3. Put a spoonful on greased tray. Go on adding another spoonful, keeping adequate distance between the two. 4. Bake in an oven at 150 o C/ 300 o F till done. Tip You may substitute coconut with 85 gms/ 3 oz of nuts like peanuts, cashewnuts, walnuts or almonds chopped. Instead of white sugar you may substitute with 85 gms/ 3 oz brown sugar to make nut Macroons.
