Ingredients
Refined flour - 150 gms/ 5.3 oz
Clarified butter or hydrogenated fat - 100 gms/ 3.52 oz
Sugar - 125 gms/ 4.4 oz
Cooking soda - 1/8 th tsp
Baking powder - 1/8th tsp
Curd - 1 tsp
Cardamom - 10

Method
1. Cream fat and sugar.

2. Beat in curds.
3. Sift flour with baking powder and cooking soda.
4. Add to the creamed mixture. Knead well with cardamom powder.
5. Divide into 20 portions.
6. Form into smooth round balls and place on a greased tray.
7. Rest the mixture for 1 to 2 hours. Bake at 160 o C / 320 o F for about 25 minutes or till done.
