BLUEBERRY CRISP

Ingredients 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries 3/4 cup sugar 2 teaspoons lemon juice Mix together and place in a buttered 8-by-8-inch pan. 3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup quick oatmeal 3/4 cup sifted flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup soft butter 1/4 cup coconut
Method Mix remaining ingredients with fork and sprinkle over blueberries. Bake in 375-degree oven for 45 minutes. Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Serves 9.
Blueberries are great at breakfast with your hot or cold cereal and in pancakes, muffins or breakfast breads. They also are good as snacks or to add to fruit or green salads, and they are great in desserts.
To freeze: Wash the berries and let them dry before freezing. Arrange berries in a single layer on a cookie sheet and freeze. Transfer to plastic freezer bags or other freezer containers and store for future use.
