LAYERED PLUM MOUSSE



Ingredients
8 whole plums
1/2 cup water
4 tbsps sugar
155 gms/ 5.46 oz cream cheese spread
60 gms / 2.11 oz white chocolate
2 tbsps gelatin
100 gms/ 3.52 oz  whipped cream

Method
1) Deseed the plums. Cut into 4 pieces. Add the sugar & 3/4th cup water & keep on low flame in a heavy saucepan till soft. Cool it.
2) Melt the chocolate over a double boiler or microwave. Allow to cool. Stir in the cream cheese spread. Fold in the whipped cream.
3) Keep the gelatin in 1/4th cup cold water for 5-6 mins.Then keep in microwave for 20 seconds. Stir well. Let it cool. Then gently mix it in the mixture & keep aside for some time
4) In a dessert bowl, layer the plums followed by the mousse & then with the plum layer again. See that the top layer is that of plums. Garnish with whipped cream if desired.
