Serves 4 Preparation Time : 1 Hour Ingredients 300 gm flour 100 gm butter 100 gm sugar 1 cup walnuts, crushed 5 eggs 2 tbsp baking powder 50 ml milk Peel of an orange, grated For the sugar syrup 200 gm sugar 100 ml water 1 lemon Method In a mixing bowl, beat butter with sugar. Ad flour, baking powder and eggs one at a time. Add orange peel and milk. Mix well and add crushed walnuts. Grease a baking pan and dust with flour. Pour mixture into the pan and bake in pre-heated oven at 160 C for 35 minutes. Pour sugar syrup on top of the cake the moment it comes out of the oven. For the sugar syrup Boil 2 cups of water.
