Sheet Cake

Ingredients
2 Cups Flour
2 Cups Sugar
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Baking Soda
2 Sticks Margarine

1 Cup Water
3 Tbsps Cocoa
2 Eggs
3 Tsps Vanilla
1/2 Cup Buttermilk

Sift the first four ingredients together. Melt butter in sauce pan and add cocoa to make paste. Gradually stir in 1 cup of water and bring the mixture to a boil. Cool for five minutes and add to flour mixture along with buttermilk. When all is well blended pour into a greased and floured sheetcake pan and bake in a 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes test for doneness.

Frosting for Sheet Cake

1 Stick Butter
5 Tbsps Milk
3 Heaping Tbsps Cocoa
1 Box Confectioners Sugar
1 Cup Chopped Nuts
2 Tsps Vanilla

Melt butter and add cocoa untill paste is formed. Gradually add milk until well blended. Bring mixture to boil and cook one minute. Cool for about five minutes and then add powdered sugar, nuts and, vanilla. Frost cake while it is still warm.
