Bread Pudding


INGREDIENTS :

Bread Slices : 3 Cups (3-4 medium slices)
Milk : 2 Cups
Caramel/Brown Sugar : 1 / 2 Cup
Raisins : 1 / 4 th Cup
Eggs : 2 Nos.
Cardamom/Nutmeg powder : 1 teaspoon
Vanilla : 1 teaspoon
Margarine / Butter : 1/2 cup

METHOD :


1. Beat the eggs well keep aside.
2. In a vessel, boil the milk, put off the gas. Add the margarine and bread slices (trimmed at the ends and cut into small squares) Mix.
3. Add the sugar, raisins, vanilla and spice powder to the beaten eggs. Mix well. Add to the milk mixture.

Keep in oven for 45 minutes at 180oC/ 350 o F. Serve.
