PEACH CRUMBLE


Ingredients
10-12 ripe peaches
3/4th cup all purpose flour or whole wheat flour or an equal combination of the two, as desired
1/2 cup plus 2 tbsps brown Sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsps lime juice
4 tbsps( 60 gms) cold unsalted butter
vanilla Icecream

Method
1) Deseed & make slices of the peaches. Add into it the lime juice, cinnamon & two Tbsps brown sugar. Put it a greased oven proof container.
2) Make cubes of the cold butter. Mix in the flour ( i used half all purpose flour & half whole wheat flour) & the remaining 1/2 cup sugar. Mix it with your finger tips till it looks like fine bread crumbs. Put it on top of the prepared fruit. Bake in a preheated oven at 375o F/ 190 o C for 25-30 mins till top is slightly browned.
3) Cool. Serve with vanilla Ice cream.
